Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join the dietary team at Wilson Medical Center. You will assist patients with menu selections and deliver meals promptly, ensuring patient satisfaction through excellent service.

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with day, evening, and night shifts. A background check and proof of employment eligibility are required to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.
• Preferred: Culinary experience in cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!

As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

• Wage: $12/hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Wilson Medical Center

Qualifications

• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform

• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
