Job summary

Oak Park Place in Menasha is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our caregiving team. The hours are two days during the week and every other weekend from 7am-3:30pm.

No late nights or weekends, and no experience is required. Dietary Aides are responsible for preparing and serving meals, following dietary requirements and safety standards, setting up dining areas, delivering meals to residents, and assisting with cleaning and sanitation.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving meals following dietary requirements and safety standards.
• Setting up dining areas and delivering meals to residents.
• Assisting with cleaning and sanitation of dining areas and utensils.
• Collaborating with Dietitians and Nurses to monitor resident intake and inventory.

Dietary Aide responsibilities included preparing and serving meals, ensuring to follow specific dietary requirements and safety standards, setting up dining areas, delivering meals to residents, and assisting with cleaning and sanitation. Dietary Aides also collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses, to help monitor patient intake, and manage inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving residents' meals according to instructions
• Using proper food handling techniques in plating and serving meals
• Cleaning and sanitizing the dining area
• Stocking the food storage areas and refrigerators
• Clean, wash, and sanitize dishes, silverware, and utensils

Requirements

Dietary Aide Qualifications

• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
