Job summary

Oak Park Place in Janesville, WI is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with meal service, dietary requirements, and sanitation. The role involves setting up dining areas, delivering meals, and collaborating with Dietitians and Nurses to monitor resident intake and inventory.

We are looking for a Dietary Aide to join our team part time! The hours are 11:30am-7:30pm two days during the week and 6:30am-2:30pm every other weekend Saturday and Sunday. The Dietary Aide responsibilities included preparing and serving meals, ensuring to follow specific dietary requirements and safety standards, setting up dining areas, delivering meals to residents, and assisting with cleaning and sanitation. Dietary Aides also collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses, to help monitor patient intake, and manage inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving residents' meals according to instructions
• Using proper food handling techniques in plating and serving meals
• Cleaning and sanitizing the dining area
• Stocking the food storage areas and refrigerators
• Clean, wash, and sanitize dishes, silverware, and utensils

Requirements

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
