Job summary

Shawnee Gardens Healthcare & Rehab Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service for patients and staff in a caring nursing center environment. You will assist the cook, prepare nourishments, label items, portion desserts and beverages, and follow established production sheets and guidelines.

Excellent communication, basic sanitation knowledge, and a willingness to work in a long-term care setting are essential. Prior food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.
