Job summary

Recover-Care in Kansas is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, service, and cleanup for patients and staff. The role supports cooks and follows center procedures to ensure safe, nourishing nourishment.

The ideal candidate communicates well, reads English, and upholds sanitation and safety standards. Prior food service or long-term care experience is preferred, with a teamwork-focused mindset and reliability.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Able to read and understand English for business needs.
• Basic sanitation, organization and safety knowledge.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook as directed by the food service director.
• Prepare and label nourishments according to center procedures.
• Prepare and portion desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages.
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate.
