Job summary

Recover-Care Heartland in Kansas seeks a dietary aide to assist kitchen staff in preparing, serving and cleaning meals for patients and staff at the nursing center. You will follow directions from the food service director and help with nourishments, desserts, salads, and beverages.

Strong verbal and written communication, basic sanitation and safety know-how, and prior food service or long-term care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred
