Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service in our nursing center. You assist cooks, prepare nourishments, and ensure meals are labeled and portioned according to procedures.

You will follow production sheets and guidelines, contribute to smooth service for patients and staff, and help maintain sanitation standards in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• The dietary aide candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate
