Job summary

Regency Hermiston is seeking a compassionate dietary aide to prepare meals for residents, plate food, wash dishes, and maintain clean, safe dining areas in a long-term care setting. You will also support infection control and promptly fill resident requests.

You currently can obtain a Food Handler’s card, read, write, speak and understand English, lift up to 40 pounds, and demonstrate excellent customer service while upholding dignity and a home-like environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s card is preferred.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate care to seniors.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe demeanor.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

You Will

• Ensure that condiment and beverage containers are clean and filled
• Assist with food preparation as needed
• Maintain infection control standards

You Currently

• Can obtain Food Handler’s card
• Read, write, speak and understand English

• Have excellent customer service skills
