Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand English.

• Be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to obtain Food Handler's card.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver food to residents, confirm meal satisfaction, and fill requests.
• Bus tables, change table linens, and reset tables following meal service.
• Maintain infection control standards.
• Plate food and deliver to tables and rooms.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, tables, and chairs.
• Reset tables and fold napkins.
• Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.

Join our team at Regency Village at Bend as a Dietary Aid/Cook and play an integral role in creating exceptional culinary experiences for our residents. As a Server/Dietary Helper, you will prepare and deliver food to residents, confirm their meal satisfaction, and fill requests. You will also bus tables, change table linens, and reset tables following meal service.

You Will

• Ensure that condiment and beverage containers are clean and filled
• Assist with food preparation as needed
• Maintain infection control standards
• Plate food and deliver to tables and rooms
• Wash and sanitize dishes, tables, and chairs
• Reset tables and Fold napkins
• Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees

You Currently

• Have the ability to obtain Food Handler's card
• Read, write, speak and understand English
• Lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor
