Job summary

Recover-Care is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support meals and nutrition services for patients and staff in our nursing center.

You will assist cooks, label nourishments, portion desserts and beverages, and follow production sheets and center procedures to ensure safety and quality.

This role requires good verbal and written communication, basic understanding of sanitation and safety, and prior experience in food service or long‑term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director.
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures.
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages.
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate.
