Job summary

Gardnerville Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We value teamwork and pride in service as part of our enhanced dining program.

Essential duties include reading tray-card production orders, arranging utensils and condiments, assisting with basic food prep, and serving meals with attention to timing and temperature. You will help maintain a clean, orderly kitchen and dining area, with emphasis on high sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place items such as utensils, napkins, straws, condiments on trays.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve food on trays at proper time, temperature and presentation.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Wash dishes and clean work area.

Gardnerville Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently looking for a a Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards

• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.

• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.

• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.

• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.

• Washes dishes and cleans work area

• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety

• Interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail

• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
