Job summary

WF TPS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our center's Rehab Services and Clinical/Nursing Care. The role focuses on assembling diet trays, labeling food, delivering meals, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment to meet residents' dietary needs.

The position emphasizes teamwork, following procedures, and a positive, patient attitude to work effectively with residents, families, and staff in a caring LTC setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required.
• Able to follow and understand procedures.
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble items to be used on an assembly line; prepare residents meals.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts to designated areas and collect food trucks when meals are finished.
• Work in dish room and wash dishes/utensils using the dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sweep and mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage.

Dietary Aide

At our center, residents are treated to a complete spectrum of Rehab Services and Clinical/Nursing Care. We provide the comprehensive care that meets the specialized physical, clinical and emotional needs of every individual that comes through our doors.

Duties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required
• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures
• Positive attitude, patienceand team mentality
