Role Overview

As a Dietary Aide/Cook, you will contribute to our patients' recovery by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals in a healthcare setting. This role requires culinary skills aligned with healthcare standards to support our therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation & Service: Plan and serve meals timely, following recipes and dietary requirements; monitor food quality and temperature; maintain kitchen equipment.
2. Safety & Sanitation: Ensure cleanliness, food safety, proper storage, and temperature recording.
3. Team Collaboration: Train helpers, coordinate with dietary staff, communicate with healthcare team, participate in menu planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 or older
• Food safety certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperatures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare food service
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and large-scale food prep
• ServSafe certification
