Heritage Manor Care in Escondido, CA is seeking a Dietary Aide for full-time or part-time roles with a flexible schedule and weekend availability. The pay rate starts at $16+ per hour, DOE, with focus on daily meal service and safety standards.

Responsibilities include following dining services procedures, labeling/dating items, proper food handling, tray assembly, and temperature monitoring. Prior SNF experience is preferred; HS diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Follows department procedures and storage of all dishes, utensils and cooking equipment.
• Ensures all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage are labeled and dated.
• Oversees proper food handling and utilization of all foods to prevent contamination, increase quality and reduce cost.
• Suggests menu or recipe changes to utilize leftovers and other supplies.
• Cleans all food service equipment, kitchen and food storage areas.
• Maintains the proper temperature of food during preparation and service. Records food temperatures according to established policy.
• Assists with the setup of the tray line. Assembles trays according to the planned menu and tray tickets, stated portion, resident food preferences, and diet order and within the established time schedules.
• Assists in checking trays during service for accuracy.
