The DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan is seeking a Food Services / Dietary team member to support patient meals, food preparation, service, inventory, and transport across the facility. You will maintain safety and cleanliness, assist with menu reviews, and ensure accurate cash operations where applicable.

Under supervision, you will work rotating shifts in a fast-paced hospital kitchen, coordinating with clinical staff to meet dietary requirements and deliver high-quality meals for patients,

Job Summary

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs duties related to the preparation, service, and transport of patient, staff, and guest meals. These may include but are not limited to taking inventory and maintaining records, stocking food and supplies, food preparation, setup and service, and transport of food and supplies; cleaning and sanitizing all equipment and work areas between use; maintaining accurate cash operations. May prepare, deliver/collect, and review daily patient menus to ensure selections are in accordance with prescribed diet. May transport food and supplies within or between hospitals. May prepare and deliver patient formulas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Additional experience/training required dependent upon discipline.
