Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Dietary Aide to create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests.

You will take orders, seating and assist residents, deliver meals, and remove dinnerware promptly. May assist with cleaning, dishes, and basic food preparation. Nights or rotating shifts with weekend/holiday rotation are available.

Qualifications

• Must be sanitation certified or obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Able to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and a good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders from residents and guests.
• Seat residents and assist as needed during meals.
• Deliver meals and remove dinnerware in a timely manner.

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide to be responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for all residents and guests. The Dietary Aide will be responsible for taking food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.

What we're looking for:
