The Dietary Aide assists in preparation of meals and snacks as well as clean up of dining areas. Assists with receiving, rotating and storing of supplies and food. The Dietary Aide has daily interactions with the residents of our community. Helps to clean work areas, wash dishes, pans and utensils.
The Dietary Aide complies with infection control, safety and sanitation functions of the facility. Ensures that food storage and work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner, and that equipment and supplies are properly maintained. The Dietary Aide handles food in accordance with sanitary regulations, and reports immediately all violations of safety or sanitation rules to supervisor.
