Job summary

Avir Health Group seeks a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family and support resident care with a team-oriented approach.

You will prepare meals that meet nutritional needs, manage prep work, and contribute to a positive facility culture. We offer competitive compensation, 401k with a match, and family health coverage to support you and your loved ones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous office experience preferred.
• Previous Nursing Home experience preferred.
• Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.
• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs.
• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary.
• Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes.li>
• Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
