Job summary

Recover-Care Heartland is seeking a dietary aide/cook to support meals for patients and staff at the nursing center and during special events. You will follow safe food handling practices and standard recipes while assisting the cook and labeling nourishments per procedures.

The role emphasizes quality food service, adherence to production sheets, and teamwork in a long-term care environment. Prior food service and LTC experience are preferred, with good communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

• The dietary aide and or dietary cook candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred
