Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the preparation, service and cleanup of meals for patients and staff in a nursing center and other events. You will assist the cook, label nourishments and portion desserts, salads and beverages, following standard procedures and production sheets.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, basic sanitation knowledge, and prior food service or long‑term care experience.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long‑term care preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director

• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non‑entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages
