Job summary

Gilman Grove in Oregon City seeks a Server, Dietary Aide to support meal service and resident experience. You will assist with meal prep, serve meals, and ensure dietary needs and textures are followed with care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Experience in dining, food service, or hospitality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete Mosaic and state-mandated training.
• Strong interpersonal skills with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service per menus and dietary needs.
• Serve meals promptly with correct portions and presentation.
• Provide respectful, personalized service to residents, guests, and staff.
• Ensure special diets and texture modifications are followed.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and report concerns to Dining Services Manager.
• Record meals daily to support cost tracking and billing.
• Assist residents with meal selections and preferences.
• Clean and maintain dining and food service areas according to standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Service & Resident Experience
  • Assist with meal preparation and service in accordance with established menus and resident dietary needs.
  • Serve meals promptly, ensuring correct portions, accurate orders, and presentation standards are met.
  • Provide respectful, courteous, and personalized service to residents, guests, and staff.
  • Ensure special diets, allergies, and texture modifications are followed accurately for each resident.
  • Monitor resident satisfaction during mealtimes and report concerns promptly to the Dining Services Manager.
  • Accurately record employee and resident guest meals daily to support cost tracking and billing.
  • Assist residents with meal selections when needed, ensuring their preferences are honored.
• Cleaning & Sanitation
  • Clean and maintain the dining room, kitchen, and food service areas according to Mosaic's cleanliness standards.
