Job summary

Mosaic is hiring for a Server, Dietary Aid to support meal preparation and dining services for residents. You will ensure meals meet dietary needs, serve with accuracy, and provide friendly, individualized assistance to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to prepare, serve, and handle food safely and efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Proficient reading, writing and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willingness to complete Mosaic and state-mandated training.
• Experience in dining, food service, or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Food Service & Resident Experience: assist with meal prep and service per menus and dietary needs.
• Serve meals promptly with correct portions and presentation standards.
• Provide respectful, courteous, and personalized service to residents, guests, and staff.
• Ensure special diets, allergies, and texture modifications are followed.
• Monitor resident satisfaction during mealtimes and report concerns to Dining Services Manager.
• Accurately record meals to support cost tracking and billing.
• Assist residents with meal selections and accommodate preferences.
• Maintain dining room, kitchen, and service areas per cleanliness standards.
