Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Centralized Diet Office Representative at the Riedman Campus in Rochester. This per diem role supports diet orders, communicates with patients and staff, and uses menu software to input orders and generate tray tickets.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent within 90 days of hire into the position.
Two (2) years customer service experience preferred, ideally in a health care setting.
Associate degree preferred.
Ability to multitask and use multiple computer programs while speaking with customers.

Responsibilities

Collaborates to deliver a seamless customer experience across multiple touch points and with all levels of the organization.
Enrolls and activates patients in the menu selection program and resolves user issues.
Promotes a positive, friendly work atmosphere prioritizing customer service and patient safety.
Acts as liaison between Food Services and other departments regarding patient meals and diet orders.
Responds promptly to phone calls from patients, nursing staff, and hospital departments.
Inputs and verifies patient diet orders, tube feeding, nourishments, allergies, and preferences in the patient file.
