Job summary

The Central Diet Office Representative at Rochester Regional Health provides essential support in managing diet orders and communicating with patients and healthcare staff. You will input and update orders, generate tray tickets, and relay accurate information to the Food and Nutrition team using the menu software.

This per diem role requires exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital setting across RRH campuses.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent within 90 days of hire into the position.
• Two years customer service experience preferred, ideally in a health care setting.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Teams, etc.), Genesys, Computrition.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates to deliver a seamless, exceptional customer experience across touch points, channels, processes, and applications.
• Enrolls and activates patient in menu selection program, resolving user questions and issues.
• Accurately input and verify patient diet orders, allergies, and preferences in the computer system.
• Provide operating reports such as tray tickets and nourishment lists as requested.
