Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL is seeking a patient meal service associate to manage tray assembly, delivery, and special requests on assigned units. You will communicate patient food issues to Nutrition and Food Services and collaborate with nursing to meet nutrition needs.

Experience in healthcare or restaurant food service is preferred; High School Diploma or GED is preferred. On-site roles with comprehensive benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient meal food service on assigned units.
• Communicates and addresses patient food issues to Nutrition and Food Services.
• Interacts with nursing regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements.
• Assists dietitian with monitoring of patients who are NPO, liquid diet or intake recording.
• Ensures timing and accuracy of modified diets and special requests.
• Adheres to safety, uniform policies and hospital procedures.
