RegalCare at Wakefield is seeking Diet Aides to join our team on all shifts. Prior experience in kitchen settings is preferred, and a compassionate approach to resident care is essential.

You will assist with meal preparation and service, follow dietary tickets, deliver trays to resident rooms, and help with sanitation, inventory, and stocking. The role offers steady hours in a supportive, community-focused facility.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in kitchen setting is preferred.
• Experience handling meals and food preparation in care settings is beneficial.
• Ability to follow dietary tickets and prescribed medical nutrition plans.

Responsibilities

• Portion and serve food, prepare snacks and beverages, and assist cooks on the tray line.
• Follow specific diet tickets and honor resident likes/dislikes while ensuring compliance with prescribed medical nutrition plans.
• Deliver food trays to resident rooms or main dining areas at scheduled times and retrieve them after meals.
• Wash dishes, pots, and utensils; sanitize tables and counters; sweep/mop floors; and properly dispose of food waste and trash.
• Assist in tracking inventory, stocking food supplies, and ensuring all perishables are rotated or discarded properly.
