C-TEC Postsecondary Center is seeking a Full-Time Heavy Truck Instructor/Coordinator to teach and train students in heavy truck maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. The role emphasizes hands-on instruction and developing curricula aligned with industry credentials.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of practical diesel experience, ASE certifications are preferred, and strong communication skills to teach effectively and manage coursework.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of practical experience as a diesel truck technician or related field.
• Heavy Truck ASE Certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in diesel truck systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience developing instructional materials and delivering training.

Responsabilités

• Instructs students, plans assignments and testing.
• Monitors attendance and grades, maintains records and reports.
• Assists in hiring, training and evaluation of instructional staff.
• Collaborates with employers at job sites and places students in cooperative work experience.
• Keeps curriculum updated with latest industry requirements.
