A growing dealer group in Saginaw, Michigan is seeking Entry level and Experienced Diesel Truck Mechanics to perform maintenance and repairs on Class 8 trucks. Responsibilities include troubleshooting various vehicle systems, maintaining records on repair orders, and assisting customers professionally. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; formal technical degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Effective written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on medium and heavy duty vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and interpret test results.
• Communicate with the Shop Foreman with accurate and detailed repair information.

Skills

Effective written and oral communication skills

Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL)

Ability to read and interpret shop repair order forms

Education
