Michigan Kenworth in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring for entry level and experienced diesel truck mechanics. You will perform repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on Class 8 trucks, using diagnostic equipment and repair orders, with 1st and 2nd shift options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical degree/cert preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shop repair orders and electrical schematics.
• Ability to use computer keyboard and Windows basics.

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on medium and heavy duty vehicles.
• Troubleshoots electrical, drive train, HVAC, brake, engine, and suspension systems.
• Writes up repair orders with clear descriptions of cause and repair procedures.
