Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• For entry level, some experience in automotive repair or heavy-duty truck maintenance is required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred, or ability to obtain.
• For experienced level, 2+ years of maintenance and repair of commercial trucks, including engine diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Determine vehicle condition by inspections and diagnostic tests to assess maintenance needs.
• Tests engine, safety, and combustion standards to meet federal and state requirements.
• Repair, replace, and adjust major assemblies and components to fix deficiencies.
• Evaluate service and parts options to contain costs.
• Perform winterization procedures and manage corrosion control.
• Maintain vehicle records of services and repairs.
• Stay updated on regulations through ongoing training.
• Adhere to safety protocols to protect staff and customers.
• Collaborate with team leaders to deliver positive customer experiences.
• Handle miscellaneous duties as needed to support operations.
