Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry level: some experience in automotive repair or heavy-duty truck maintenance.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred, or ability to obtain.
• For experienced level: diesel-focused technical school program + 2+ years of maintenance/repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and perform diagnostics to determine maintenance needs.
• Test engines, safety, and emissions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Repair or replace major assemblies and components as needed.
• Evaluate service options to manage costs and optimize solutions.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records of services and repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and keep up with regulations.
