Job summary
GFL - Sewer Technologies Division seeks a mechanically skilled technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel refuse trucks, ensuring safe operation and high uptime. The role covers diesel systems, hydraulics, electrical, brakes, suspension, and PTO components, with hands-on preventative maintenance to keep fleet vehicles ready for daily operation.
Starting pay ranges from $20 to $30 per hour, with higher pay for experience and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
- Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
- Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
