Job summary
Performance Foodservice is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will ensure compliance with state and federal trucking regulations and keep accurate work orders.
The role requires diagnosing electrical and refrigeration issues, installing onboard computers, and performing routine maintenance with a range of hand and power tools. Training and benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required with relevant maintenance experience.
- Experience servicing medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers including PMs.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and refrigeration components.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Ensure roadworthy licensing and registrations are in place.
- Document work orders and repairs in the ERP system daily.
- Install, replace, and repair onboard computers as needed.
- Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings and other critical parts.
- Complete routine maintenance using hand and power tools; assist as needed.
