Estes Express in Georgia seeks a Diesel Mechanic to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, trucks and forklifts. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment to ensure reliability and compliance with regulations.

A strong safety mindset and the ability to read manuals, interpret work orders, and work well in a team or independently are essential. CDL/FMCSA compliance may be required for driving assignments.

Formación

• Must have a HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be 17+ years old.
• Minimum one year experience or trade school; or equivalent background.
• Able to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Must own tools.
• Knowledge of heavy truck repairs and diesel engine diagnostics.
• CDL and FMCSA Drug Clearinghouse eligibility if driving.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, trucks and/or forklifts.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and prepare compliance documents per FMCSA and regulations.
• Interpret work orders and manuals.
• Repair or replace defective parts and test performance to meet specs and regulations.
• Maintain safety and attend to all duties with reliable attendance.
