Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 17+ years old.
• Minimum one year experience or completion of trade school; or equivalent education/experience.
• Able to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Must have own tools.
• Knowledge of heavy truck repairs and diesel engine diagnostics.
• Ability to adapt to changing technology and updates.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks and/or forklifts.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and prepare FMCSA-compliant documents.
• Interpret work orders and manuals; repair or replace defective parts.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
