Heniff Transportation is seeking a Diesel Truck Maintenance Technician in North Charleston, SC to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor-trailer units in compliance with DOT and company standards. You will diagnose, inspect (90-day) and service equipment, adhering to safety and environmental policies while maintaining records as required.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, own tools, and the ability to read and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience using inspection and test equipment for cargo tanks.

Responsibilities

• The Diesel Truck Mechanic diagnoses and repairs tractors and trailers.
• Perform annual/systematic 90-day inspections to meet FHWA standards.
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies; identify and dispose of hazardous wastes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
