Heniff Transportation is looking for a Diesel Truck Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and general repairs on tractor and trailer units per DOT and company standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing tractors and trailers, conducting 90-day FHWA inspections, and following OSHA and environmental policies. Must have a high school diploma or GED and own tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience using inspection and test equipment for cargo tank inspections.
• Must own personal tools.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair tractors and trailers.
• Perform annual/systematic 90-day inspections to meet FHWA standards.
• Conduct HM inspections as required.
• Adhere to OSHA and environmental policies and procedures.
