Job summary

Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to diagnose and repair tractors and trailers, and to perform preventive 90‑day inspections in line with FHWA standards. The role requires adherence to OSHA safety and environmental policies and the proper handling of hazardous wastes.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, own their own tools, and be able to read and speak English proficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience using inspection and test equipment used for cargo tank inspections.
• Must be able to read and interpret manuals and safety documents.
• Ability to read and understand English documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair tractors and trailers.
• Perform annual 90‑day inspections to meet FHWA standards.
• Conduct HM inspections and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Follow OSHA and environmental guidelines and dispose of hazardous wastes properly.
