Job summary

North Central International is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles per manufacturer standards. You will read repair orders, prepare work areas, and document all work completed while maintaining a safe, clean shop environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of hands-on experience, and a valid driver's license; CDL, ASE, and OEM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical automotive program preferred.
• 1–2 years of hands-on vehicle maintenance/repair experience.
• Experience with medium- or heavy-duty trucks is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred; ASE and OEM certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret repair orders, prepare work areas, and secure parts and tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Document all work performed and communicate findings to the team.
• Ensure vehicle is safe and fully functional before release; maintain cleanliness.
• Mentor colleagues and follow health and safety regulations.
