Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the teaching field.
• Teach diesel technology courses across multiple schedules, locations, and delivery methods as requested.
• Provide students with clear written expectations, syllabi, policies and graded evaluations.
• Administer assessments including comprehensive final exams to measure mastery of course objectives.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that respects students and supports learning.
• Prepare adequately for class and arrive promptly for scheduled instructional activities.
• Deliver course material clearly and address student concerns through discussions, office hours, and timely communication.
• Maintain a well-run department learning and assessment environment in traditional, online and distance education settings.
