Job summary

Aims Community College seeks part-time instructors for Automotive Service Technology at the Windsor campus and other locations as needed. Candidates will teach a variety of courses depending on expertise and will be expected to conduct classes consistent with the college's mission and teaching philosophy.

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or certified license with extensive industry experience; ASE certification and access to college systems are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include an Associate's degree in a related field such as Diesel Power Mechanics, plus 4,000 hours of relevant industry experience OR current industry license/certification plus 6,000 hours of relevant industry experience.
• ASE Certification required prior to first day of classes and L1/L2 standards for instructor certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach day and/or evening classes at Windsor campus or assigned locations.
• Teach various Automotive Service Technology courses based on expertise.
• Build test banks and maintain automotive service equipment.
