Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 2+ years of diesel or heavy equipment experience.
• Strong knowledge of diesel systems (engines, electrical, hydraulics).
• Ability to diagnose issues—not just replace parts.
• Basic computer skills for service documentation.
• CDL (a plus, not required).
• Trade school or certifications (a plus).
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues quickly and accurately.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep fleets running efficiently.
• Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, and drivelines.
• Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and equipment to troubleshoot problems.
• Complete repairs efficiently and within standard times.
• Document work performed clearly and accurately.
• Support drivers/operators with technical insight when needed.
• Handle road calls and emergency repairs (shop + mobile roles available).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with a team that values communication and accountability.
