Accel Talent Group in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join a high-performing shop where your hands-on skills are valued and rewarded. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of diesel or heavy equipment experience.
• Strong knowledge of diesel systems (engines, electrical, hydraulics, etc.).
• Ability to diagnose issues rather than just replacing parts.
• Basic computer skills for service documentation.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Trade school or certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
