Ryder is hiring a Diesel Technician Trainee in Woolwich Township, New Jersey. This role offers on‑the‑job training, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm second shift, and a pathway to a full maintenance career with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

No experience is required, and we provide paid training, tool reimbursement, and a strong 401(k) match. You’ll work with state-of-the-art diagnostics on heavy-duty vehicles and have opportunities for advancement.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one (1) year mechanical experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn to use and maintain equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Work independently and as a member of a team.
• CDL CLASS A, preferred.
• Safety‑sensitive position; follow state regulations.

Mansioni

• Move heavy duty vehicles into or out of yard, wash bay, service shop or rental shop.
• Perform multi-point inspection on inbound units and report issues to shop.
• Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards and policies.
• Attend and complete Technician Training Development Program requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and service tasks as trained.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean, organized work areas.
