Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Green Bay, WI is hiring a Diesel Technician Trainee. You will be paid during training and work on heavy-duty vehicles with top diagnostics and tools. No experience required and on-the-job paid training starts immediately.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, second shift 12:00 pm–8:30 pm, and benefits including medical/dental/vision after 30 days, PTO from day one, and a 401(k) match. CDL-A preferred and safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year mechanical experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Move heavy duty vehicles into or out of yard, wash bay, service shop, or rental shop.
• Perform multi-point inspections and report issues to shop.
• Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards and assist with facility maintenance.
• Complete Technician Training Development Program requirements (various trainings).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
