Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Diesel Technician Trainee in Knoxville, TN to train and progress into a full technician role. You will earn while you learn, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits as you advance through stages of the trainee program.

Open to candidates with no experience; on‑the‑job training begins immediately and growth opportunities are highlighted by merit increases and certifications.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year mechanical experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ with strong English communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• CDL Class A preferred; ability to obtain CDL within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Move heavy duty vehicles into/out of yard and service areas.
• Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units as required.
• Maintain fuel island area and perform basic facility tasks.
• Complete Technician Training Development Program modules.
• Adhere to safety policies and shop procedures during all tasks.
