Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install major engine components and transmissions as required.
• Read job orders and determine malfunction to plan work procedures.
• Inspect safety devices and ensure proper adjustments.
• Test drive and verify conformance to specifications.
