Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a dedicated Technician in Fishers, IN to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a modern fleet. You will log, diagnose and complete repairs using Penske tools, while learning advanced maintenance processes with expert supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills and DOT/OSHA safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles and ensure safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication, some electrical and cooling system work.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands‑on coaching.
• Handle additional projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
