Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and diagnose simple vehicle systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work outdoors and in varying conditions.
• Comfort with basic computer use.
• Must understand safety policies and procedures including DOT/OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and ensures vehicles are safe for customers.
• Uses Penske tools to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Performs preventative maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Collaborates with the supervisor to learn new skills via Penske training and coaching.
• Works on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
