Job summary
Casella Waste is seeking a Diesel Technician to maintain diesel equipment, perform inspections, and complete preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliable service. The role includes inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles, maintaining records, and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; must be 18+ years old.
- Minimum 1 year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment.
- Valid driver’s license (Class A, B, or C) preferred or required as stated.
Responsibilities
- Perform diesel maintenance and repairs following safety policies.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance; address deficiencies.
- Diagnose issues using tests and diagnostic equipment; test drive as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Operate in varying weather conditions to repair equipment and vehicles.
- Participate in training and continuous learning opportunities.
